The Armada ARV 106 Ti is the party animal of the ARV family. It's the ski that's first on the lift, buys the first round, closes the bar down and repeats all weekend. The addition of Articulated Titanal Banding (ATB) gives this ski the backbone some more aggressive freestyle skiers wanted without losing the Armada ARV DNA. You’re getting the same loose, surfy feel that made the regular 106 a freestyle-freeride favorite, but now with the better edge hold, dampness, and composure to absolutely floor it when conditions get spicy.
At 106mm underfoot, this thing still floats like you'd expect, but it’s noticeably more planted when the snow gets choppy or you're maching through tracked-out bowls. Where the old ARV 106 could get knocked around or fold up a little under pressure, the Ti version keeps charging, inspiring confidence instead of having to muscle it around or bail on the lap. You can still butter, pivot, and slarve to your heart’s content, but when it’s time to commit to a line, the ARV 106 Ti won't quit.
Armada didn’t just throw metal in and call it good. The ATB layout is smart, it gives the ski power underfoot and a calmer ride, but still allows the tips and tails to remain playful.
